Resensi Film "The Secret Garden"

         

       Film ini sudah sangat lama. Sejak tahun 1993. Aku pun belum lahir di tahun itu. Aku sangat menyukai film ini. Bagian terfavoritku adalah sewaktu Mary dan Dickon pertamakalinya bertemu dan Mary menunjukan taman itu.

               

 Waktu itu, Mary sedang dalam perjalanannya ke taman rahasia yang dia temukan. Sewaktu diperjalanannya, ada burung gagak mendatangi dia dengan panik. Mary pun juga menjadi takut. Dickon pun langsung datang.

Pertemuan Dickon dan Mary untuk pertamakalinya

“Soot!” panggil Dickon ke burung gagak itu. “ Dia tidak mengenal kau. Kamu memakutinya.”

 “Aku menakutinya?” Mary tanya.

“Ayolah, dia tidak akan menyakitimu.” Ajak Dickon ke Mary untuk mengelus burung itu

“Dia akan menggigitku.”

“Dia tidak akan.”

“Tetapi dia jorok dan kotor.”

“Tidak, dia lembut. Pasti kau akan menyukainya.” Mary pun mencoba untuk memegang burung itu. Tetapi. Saat ia elus, burung itu takut dan bersuara.

“Sudah. Aku sudah melakukannya!” ujar Mary. Dickon pun tersenyum. Dia mengambil tangan Mary, melepaskan sarung tangannya, dan menankaukan tangan Mary ke burung itu secra pelan-pelan. Pertama, burung itu agak takut. Tetapi, lama-lama burung itu, Soot, menyukainya.

“Seperti itu nona Mary.”

“Aku tahu kau juga. Kau Dickon, adik Martha, Dickon.”. Mereka pun bercakap-cakap. Mary pun mengatakan, “Aku telah mencuri sebuah taman. Mungkin itu sudah mati. Aku tak tahu.”

“Mungkin aku tahu.” Kata Dickon. Mary pun mengantarkan Dickon ke tempat itu. “Apakah kau janji tidak akan mengatakan hal ini?” tanya Mary kepada Dickon. “Aku janji.” Jawabnya.

“Tak seorangpun?”

“Tak satu jiwa.”

“Ini adalah taman yang rahasia.”

“Rahasia-rahasia aman bersamaku.”. Mary pun membuka pintu itu dan menunjukan semua yang ada di taman itu. Dickon tersenyum lebar sambil melihat-lihat di taman itu. “Taman ini tidak mati.” Ujar Dickon. Lalu Dickon menjelaskan mengapa taman itu tidak mati.

   

                       

       Aku sangat terkesan akan film ini. Aku sangat menyukai pemandangan di film itu. Apalagi taman itu. Hewan-hewan yang dipakai di film ini bukan animasi. Yang dipakai itu binatang-binatang asli. Mulai dari burung sampai anjing.

Teman

       Pada tanggal 28 Juni 2013, aku sedang berada di sekolah Morningstar Academy Jakarta (MSA). Gedung itu tetap seperti biasa, harum, dingin, dan keren. Di hari itulah aku akan menyanyi di depan orang yang banyak.

  

Saat latihan, aku berkenalan dengan salah satu pemain musik timku. “Halo namaku Andrew.” Ujarnya. “Namaku Pauline.” Jawabku. Sewaktu latihan, kita melatih lagu yang sudah lama sejak enam tahun yang lalu. Temanku, kak Leah, menanyakan ke kak Andrew, “kamu yang main lagu ini kan dulu?”. Kak Andrew pun mengangguk. Kenyataan itu membuatku kaget. Karena, lagu ini dipakai di konser “Rebirth” enam tahun yang lalu. Di antara keramaian orang-orang banyak, aku juga ikut menonton konser itu! Dengan kata lain, aku sudah pernah bertemu dengan orang itu sebelumnya!

     

     Di malam itu, saat aku menyanyi, konsernya berjalan dengan sangat lancar. Kita sangat gembira sewaktu sudah selesai karena konsernya sangat bagus dan lancar!!

    

     Sewaktu aku sudah pulang, ke Jogja, aku melihat CD-CD yang ada. Lalu, aku menemukan DVD Natal gereja MSI tahun 2005. Aku pun memutar CD itu ke TV-ku. Sewaktu aku menonton CD itu, aku melihat ada ka Andrew di situ! Bermain gitar untuk acara itu! Seingatku, aku juga berada di sana juga. Aku ingat setelah acara itu selesai, aku bermain-main di atas panggung itu!! Tidak salah lagi aku memang sudah pernah bertemu dengan kak Andrew delapan tahun yang lalu!! Tetapi parahnya baru berkenalan bulan lalu.

Hi. My name is Woo. I’m an Ipod Nano, 5^th generation. My color is metallic blue. I live in EMAX store, at 

Amplaz mall, highest floor, beside Cinema 21. I’m staying here until my new master is going to buy me.

When I’m waiting in my box, as usual, one of the client at EMAX takes me out from the box! He’s putting me on his desk. He show  my abilities to him, my new master. The client is like doing a monologue to him. It’s so long. After he’s done, my new master is buying me! Ahhh I’m so happy! I’m put into a transparent plastic. Then, we go home.

He’s driving a blue motorcycle. Blue helmet, blue shoes, and blue ipod! Hey I think he really loves blue. From Amplaz to our home, it takes ten minutes. Okay, we’re here. His room is filled with blue things! Almost everything is blue!

He puts me to his desk, and take me out from my box, and starting to synchronize me to his laptop. While synchronizing, someone greet me. “Hey there blue ipod!”. Oh it’s my master’s laptop. He’s an HP laptop. Black outside, metallic grey inside, and black keypad. “Hi there. What’s your name?” I ask to the laptop.

“I’m Siwan! But my real name is Max. Master changed my name because he’s a big fan of Kpop. Nice to meet you. And what’s your name?”

“My name is Woo. By the way, what’s our master’s name? “

“His full name is Yeo Jung Hyun. You can call him master Jung.”

“Okay then. What’s your full name?”

“Lee Si Wan. What’s yours?”

“Kim Woo Dae. Can I ask you everything about master Jung?”

“Of course! Why not? I have all of his data here.”

“Date of birth?”

“24^th September, 1994”

“Favorite food?”

“Indomie.”

“Hobby?”

“Dancing, listening music, and playing music.”

“Oh so he’ll use me everyday!”

“Yep that’s right.”

“I just can’t wait!”

The next day, master Jung bring me to his school. But he just put me in his pocket with his earphone. But after the school’s over, he use me! He clicks music, playlist, Japanese and Korean Music,  and play EXO-K’s History. This song is upbeat. I really love it. Master Jung walks home from school. Before we go home, he stand still and look at the office boy next to his school. “This guy. Seriously. Driving your motor to a place that I don’t know and then go back. Maybe it only takes ten minutes. And then go back, and go again, and go back. Ck ck ck. Annoying guy.” Master Jung says that while he shakes his head from the left to right and left, right, left, right. After that, we walk home.

At that night, master Jung use me to play music before going to bed. He click the slow music and play it. While lying beside his head, I think. What if I’m a human. It must be interesting. When I’m sleeping, I have a dream.  A woman come to me and tell me that she will change me into a human but only for a week. At the morning, I’m aghast! Because the dream is true! I become a human!

 I get up from the bed before master Jung wake up and look to the mirror. Whoa I’m quite handsome. I ware a denim, shiny like my ipod screen. A blue jumper with a Macintosh symbol on its back. It’s blue of course. My shoes is blue with white linings. I have a black hair with blue streaks. I sit on the bed, waiting for master Jung to wake up. Master’s nose is twitching to the air. I smell something that smells like incense coming from my jumper. Suddenly master Jung jump off from his bed! I don’t know why. He is awestruck when he see me. He gingerly ask something to me. “I’m sorry, who are you?” Master asks.

“It’s me!” I answer.

“Why are you so handsome and you have Macintosh symbols at your jumper and shirt?”

“I’m your ipod!”

“WHAT?! Why are you a human?”

“Don’t know. Last night I dreamt that a woman came to me and said that she’ll turned me into a human but 

only for a week.”

“What’s your name?”

“I’m Woo. My full name is Kim Woo Dae.”

“Okay. “

“By the way master Jung-“

“How do you know my name?”

“ Siwan told me. He have all about your data there.” I point at the laptop, Siwan on his desk.

“Oh. What did you want to ask me?”

“Oh yes. Aren’t master Jung today must go to school?”

“Right! I forgot!”

Master Jung’s mom and father did not know that I turned into a human. That morning, I’m alone at home. I plan to cook food for master Jung and take it to school. But, I don’t know how to cook. But, I can search a cooking book in this house! After ten minutes searching, I finally found it. Okay, let’s see what I can cook. I’ll cook sandwich then. Beef, tomato, bread, lettuce, cheese, and mayonnaise. All clear. Now I have to give this to master Jung. I know the road.

At school, it’s break time. When I go to master’s class, many girls look at me. It feels kinda awkward. Master Jung looks amazed, seeing me here. “What are you doing here?!” Ask master Jung. ”Just delivering your little snack. I made it” I answer.

“How?”

“Just seeing the cooking book.”

“Magnificent.”

“This food is prominent for you, master.”

“I know I know so please go back home okay?”

“I understand that.”. I leave classroom. Still, everyone is still looking at me. I hear one of the girls says “oooohhh”.

When master is home, from school, he indignantly tell his problem with his best friend to me.  His best friend, Minho, cheated him at the Science test. It made master Jung so angry.

That night, I dream. The same woman that turned me into a human tell me to make peace between master Jung and Minho. If I can’t finish this task, I will be forever a human. If I’m a human forever, the people around me will be suspicious of me. I didn’t have a ID card, or anything else has that human has.

The second last day of my human being, master Jung is still angry to Minho. But he says to me that he still wants to be friends with him. This day is still a plight day for me. That day I go to the school, just for visiting. I come to Minho. “Minho, why did you act like that to master- I mean,  Jung?” I ask. “Who are you?” Minho ask to me.

“I’m Woo, Jung’s friend.”

“Why didn’t you go to school?”

“Eh.. Because…. this day is my holiday!”

“Where do you live?”

“In Jung’s house.”

“So you’re like the occupant there?”

“NO!”

“Whatever.”

“Just answer my question wouldn’t you?! You are prestigious for him! It is your priority to apologize!”

“Shut up.”

“Ask forgiveness from him.”

“Your assessment doesn’t suit me.”

Minho, his head is hard as a rock. I just want to glower my face to him every time I meet him. He is kinda malign. Now, master Jung wants to be friend with him again. He put his melancholy face to me. “ I just want to be friends with him again.” Says master Jung. At the lunch, I gather the two of them. Okay, I’ll initiate my action. “Minho, Jung wants to be friends with you again. Can you apologize to him?” I ask. “Hmphh! Nope.” Master Jung become distraught. “I’m sorry Minho, I ignored you.” Apologized master Jung to Minho.

“Why did you apologized to me?”

“Because you are my friend.”

“Apologize accepted. I’m sorry. I cheated on you because I didn’t study for the test.”

“It’s alright.”

Two of them become good friends again. I’ve done my task. The next day, the last day I become a human, it’s Sunday. Me and master Jung go jogging. And I become the predometer. “How many steps, Woo?” Asked master Jung to me. “1235 steps.” I answered. “Great.”. After jogging, we go back home.

That night, before sleeping, I tell master Jung. “Master, this is the last night I become a human. What do you request before I go?” I ask. “Nothing. I just want to say thank you for making a peace between me and Minho.” Answered master Jung to me while smiling. I smile too.

The next day, Monday, I’m back to an Ipod. That morning master Jung forget that I’ve become an Ipod. He just look at me. And rub my screen. But, he became amazed again! He jump of from his bed and fall down to the floor. I see someone standing, sitting on the chair, beside the desk. Metallic grey hair, black Jacket, white shirt, white denim, and black shoes. Handsome too. “Who are you?” Ask master Jung to that guy. “Yo, it’s me! Don’t ya remember me?” Answer that guy. Master Jung become confuse. But, when that guy turns his back, we see an HP symbol on the back of his jacket! “Siwan! You’re a human!” Says master Jung. Then Siwan hug master Jung, while laughing.
